What does the Executive Board do?

The Executive Board of Northwestern’s Associated Student Government directly carries out the co-presidents’ initiatives, liaising with university administrators, student groups, and more to champion Northwestern students’ priorities and enact action items that benefit the student body.


What positions are on the Executive Board?

The Executive Board encompasses the Cabinet, the Committee Chairs, and several Executive Officer positions with specific areas of focus.


What is the Cabinet?

The Cabinet includes the Chiefs of Staff, the Treasurer, the Student Activities Finance Committee Chairs, the Directors of Communications, the Directors of Justice and Inclusion, the Director and Deputy Director of Strategic Initiatives and Research, and the Speaker of the Senate. A sub-group of the Executive Board, the Cabinet more frequently consults with the co-presidents and holds weekly meetings with university administrators.
